A Joint field operation against illega taxes was carried out from 3-4 December 2009 from Kabul - Torkham highways.
Most of the hotspots such as Pule Charkhi and kabul-Torkham highways were targeted and some personnel were caught red-handed during the operation.
The operation was conducted in close coordination with representatives from public and private institution pursuant to the dicision of the commission headed by Ministry of Interior Affair for addressing illegal taxes.
